Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels or frozen corn
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Honey Butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper optional

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the fresh corn kernels and sauté for about 8-10 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
  3. While the corn is cooking, in a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Once the corn is cooked, reduce the heat to low and add the honey butter mixture to the skillet.
  5. Stir well to coat the corn evenly with the honey butter.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through and allow flavors to meld.
  7. Remove from heat and serve warm as a delicious side dish.
