Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 pre-made pie crust pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for sautéing
For the Filling
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups zucchini shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the shredded zucchini and sauté for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the sautéed zucchini, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Assemble the Pie
  1. Place the pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Pour the filling mixture into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake the Pie
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly golden.
  2. Let the pie cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
