  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. For the crumble topping, mix chopped pecans, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl until crumbly; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, eggs, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the crumble topping over it before adding the remaining batter on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
