  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (light)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and diced bell pepper; sauté until softened.
  2. Increase heat to medium-high, add ground beef, and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. In a bowl, mix ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour into the skillet with the beef mixture.
  4. Stir well and let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes to combine flavors.
  5. Toast hamburger buns lightly in another skillet or oven until golden brown.
