Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 12 candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder and flour. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Allow cooling completely.
  5. Spread white frosting over cooled brownies. Use extra frosting to pipe horizontal lines for mummy bandages and place two candy eyes on each brownie.
