- 12 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add diced chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper; sauté until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
- Stir in garlic and sauté for another minute. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan.
- Add heavy cream; bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add uncooked fettuccine and stir to coat in the sauce. Cover and cook according to package directions until al dente.
