Description

Savor the mouthwatering flavors of this marinated flank steak, grilled to perfection and guaranteed to impress at your next gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the flank steak.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the flank steak in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 450°F). Remove the steak from the marinade and allow excess liquid to drip off.
  5. Grill each side for about 5-7 minutes until desired doneness is reached (medium-rare is approximately 135°F internally).
  6. Let the steak rest for about 10 minutes under loosely covered foil before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
