Ingredients
- 12 large jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach (chopped)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, chopped spinach, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each shell generously with the filling mixture and place them seam-side up in the baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the filled shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes for a golden top.
