  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (120g) cake flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 320°F (160°C). Prepare a round baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently.
  3. Mix in milk and vanilla until glossy and lump-free.
  4. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; fold gently into the mixture without over-mixing.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and place it in a larger dish filled halfway with hot water (water bath).
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  7. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 15 minutes before removing.
