- 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 4 tbsp melted butter

- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- 2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft (about 5 minutes). Add steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (another 5 minutes).
- 3. Layer four slices of sourdough in the baking dish. Top with half the steak mixture and half the provolone cheese. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
