  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium bowl and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together granulated sugar and brown sugar, then add the melted butter until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, sift together flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Gently incorporate the fresh raspberries.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
