- 1 fresh baguette
- 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers (red or green), sliced
- 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tbsp of butter. Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add thinly sliced beef to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper; cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Mix remaining melted butter with minced garlic in a bowl.
- Slice the baguette lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Spread garlic butter inside and fill with beef mixture and provolone cheese.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
