- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Cook the seasoned chicken for 7-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan.
- In the same skillet, add chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits. Gradually mix in heavy cream while stirring until combined.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and warm for a couple of minutes before serving.
