- ½ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three 9-inch baking pans with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in almond flour and cocoa powder until combined. Divide the batter into three bowls, adding different gel food colors to each.
- Pour each colored batter into its respective greased pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 15–20 minutes until springy to touch. Let cool completely.
- While cooling, prepare ganache by heating heavy cream and pouring it over chopped chocolate; stir until smooth.
- Once cooled, layer the cakes with ganache in between each layer, trimming edges if necessary before coating the entire stack with more ganache.
