- 8 oz brioche bread, torn into pieces
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine torn brioche pieces.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over the brioche and fold in blueberries. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk and flour until thickened (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and fold in remaining blueberries.
- Grease a baking dish. Layer half of the brioche mixture in the dish, followed by half of the custard; repeat layers.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set in the middle. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
