  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp espresso powder
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal mixed with 1/4 cup water (flax egg)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, melt together dark chocolate chips and tahini until smooth.
  3. Stir in espresso powder and maple syrup until well combined.
  4. Prepare the flax egg by mixing flaxseed meal with water and letting it sit for 5 minutes; then incorporate into the chocolate mixture.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared dish, sprinkle sea salt on top, and bake for 25-30 minutes until set but still soft in the center.
