  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the beef and vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, marinate the beef with half of the soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil for about 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
  4. Sear the marinated beef strips until browned but not fully cooked (about three minutes).
  5. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots to the pan and stir-fry for five minutes until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  6. Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then pour over the stir-fry along with remaining soy sauce. Stir until thickened (about one minute).
