- 3–4 tbsp water or aquafaba
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on the counter for easy access.
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
- Gradually add water or aquafaba while blending until you achieve a creamy consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed; blend briefly to mix.
- Transfer hummus to a serving bowl, create swirls with a spoon, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika if desired.
- Serve with pita chips or fresh veggies.
