Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup sago pearls
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 4 cups water (for boiling sago)
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  2. Drain the cooked sago in a fine mesh strainer and rinse under cold water to prevent sticking.
  3. Chop 2 cups of fresh strawberries into bite-sized pieces. Optionally toss with 1 tablespoon sugar for added sweetness.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup coconut milk with 3 tablespoons sugar until smooth.
  5. Layer the cooked sago pearls with chopped strawberries in serving bowls and drizzle the coconut milk mixture on top.
  6. Refrigerate for about an hour before serving for the best cooling effect.
