Description

Hot Chocolate Bombs with Peppermint are a festive, interactive treat that transforms your hot cocoa experience. These delightful chocolate spheres burst open in warm milk to reveal rich cocoa and fluffy marshmallows, all infused with refreshing peppermint. Perfect for cozy nights or holiday gatherings, these bombs are not only delicious but also add a touch of magic to your winter evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup high-quality chocolate (dark or milk)
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • Festive sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate into silicone molds, swirling to coat evenly. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until set.
  3. Carefully remove the chocolate shells from the molds and fill half with cocoa powder, mini marshmallows, and peppermint extract.
  4. Warm a plate and briefly place an empty shell on it to soften edges, then press it onto a filled shell to seal.
  5. Optional: Drizzle with melted chocolate and add sprinkles for decoration.
  6. Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature.
