  • 8 large green cabbage leaves
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse halibut fillets under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot. Immerse cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes until softened, then cool.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over halibut fillets and season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  4. Wrap each fillet in a cabbage leaf tightly like a burrito.
  5. Place wrapped fillets seam-side down in a greased baking dish, drizzle with lemon juice, cover with foil, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
