Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, green onions, garlic, ginger, breadcrumbs, ketchup, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. With wet hands, roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat for frying.
  4. Bake on a lined baking sheet for about 20 minutes or fry until browned on all sides (3-4 minutes per side).
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lime juice for the dip.
  6. Serve warm alongside spicy mayo dip.
