  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu for 15-20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. Cut tofu into cubes and marinate in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Coat marinated tofu evenly with cornstarch.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry tofu in batches until golden brown on each side (about 3-4 minutes).
