- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups assorted fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add egg yolk and blend until dough forms.
- Press dough into a tart pan evenly across the bottom and sides. Prick with a fork to prevent bubbling and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
- In another bowl, whisk cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust evenly.
- Arrange fresh berries on top in a colorful pattern.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
